I was approached by the BioFrontiers IT team to help develop a digital signage platform for an executive conference room display. I was provided with UI mockups, workflow requirements, and existing backend Python scripts.

I set up the GitLab project structure and led frontend development, translating design mockups into a functional web interface. I implemented the frontend using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Jinja templates, and collaborated with backend contributors to integrate dynamic data flows and ensure alignment between UI behavior and system logic.

I also fully architected a drag-and-drop PDF scanning web tool for the IT and Finance departments after identifying a need for more consistent billing practices. The tool uses OpenCV to analyze color-to-white ratios in uploaded documents and automatically assigns billing tiers. I deployed it on the BioFrontiers IT website for internal use by the team.

I fully built and deployed an internal web application to automate device backup compliance across company infrastructure. Integrated CrashPlan’s API to pull and process backup reports for company labs. I also integrated Zammad’s ticketing system API to automatically generate client notifications when devices were found to be disconnected, streamlining communication and reducing manual follow-up.
